The Montessori Child Center is the only Montessori Child Center in Zwolle. Our school is located in Zwolle-Zuid, but because of our educational concept, children from other neighborhoods – sometimes even from outside the city – come to our school.

Our more than 300 students are divided into 11 heterogeneous groups. Pupils from groups 1 and 2 sit together in the lower school, groups 3, 4 and 5 together form the middle school and 6, 7 and 8 the upper school. This classification is in line with the developmental phases that children go through and in this way they experience what it is like to be the youngest or oldest of a group. Understanding, respect and learning from each other are paramount.

All our teachers are Montessori trained or in training. This also applies to the toddler group, where the Montessori approach is already being started.
