Float over Vianden by chairlift

The only chairlift in the Grand Duchy takes you swinging up over the Our valley and river to a height of 440m. From the terrace at the café, you can enjoy stunning views of the castle, the valley and the town of Vianden. Souvenir photos are available to purchase from the top station. With the right shoes you can enjoy a light walk back down through the surrounding woods. You emerge at the castle and a further wander through the little medieval town will take you back to your starting point.

Opening Hours: 
Low season (spring until June 22 and September 1 until October 10):

Monday to Friday from 11 am to 5 pm
Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from 10:00 to 18:00

High season (June 23 to August 31):

Monday to Friday from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm
Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from 10:00 to 19:00
