“TC Durmitor” is a state-owned company, founded and owned by the state Investment and Development Fund of Montenegro.
“TC Durmitor” is the owner of the “Savin Kuk” ski resort on Durmitor, which is one of the two largest ski resorts in Montenegro. This ski resort is located within the “Durmitor” National Park, which adds to its charm and attractiveness. The “Durmitor” National Park covers an area of 39,000 hectares and was declared a national park in 1952. Its special beauty is enhanced by 18 glacial lakes, called “Mountain Eyes,” which are located at an altitude of over 1,500 meters. Wonderful mountain range
As part of the Dinaric Alps, the Durmitor mountain represents a massif located in the northwest of Montenegro.

Located in the northwest of Montenegro, the park encompasses the main Durmitor massif, along with the Tara, Draga, and Sušica canyons and the upper part of the Komarnica canyon valley. The beauty of the Durmitor massif is further enhanced by 18 glacial lakes, called “mountain eyes,” situated at elevations above 1500m. Durmitor is home to 748 mountain springs of drinkable water. Along the mountain and hiking trails of Durmitor, there are numerous caves, including the Ice Cave, located beneath the peak of Obla Glava. On the slopes of Durmitor, there is the wild Nevidio Canyon, which was unknown and inaccessible to people for thousands of years, discovered only in 1965.
The climate characteristic of the NP Durmitor, which includes the “Savin Kuk” location, is sub-mountainous and mountainous. It features long, cold winters and relatively short, fresh summers.
The snow cover on Durmitor persists for 120 days a year, and the best ski slopes are on the slopes of Savin Kuk, Stuoci, and Javorovača.
