Hbt Engineering

Hbt Engineering is a company with many years of experience in performing construction and finishing works, supported by a skilled team capable of carrying out all types of construction tasks

We are particularly specialized in drywall systems (Knauf or Rigips) when it comes to finishing works. Whether you are looking to renovate your space or build a new one, our advice and experience can help make your space more functional and aesthetically appealing. Our team will propose a conceptual design and quickly and efficiently turn your ideas into reality. We hold the necessary certifications and licenses to perform these tasks.

All work is carried out in an organized manner, using modern materials and tools, following a pre-agreed project timeline, and strictly adhering to construction standards. Our extensive experience in gypsum work will guide you in achieving optimal results in terms of functionality, aesthetics, and cost. As an added benefit, we offer the integration of related finishing works (lighting, ceramics, parquet, ventilation, painting) into a unified offer.

When it comes to gypsum work, we primarily work with private clients, especially in residential houses, where we most often install suspended ceilings, decorative ceilings, attic conversions, thermal and acoustic insulation, fire protection systems, and painting services. Our strongest reference is the extensive experience gained over many years in Germany.

SERVICES

Sales and Installation of Silo Equipment

Modern grain storage technologies, with minimal construction and maintenance costs, have led to the replacement of traditional concrete silos with galvanized steel silos. Our company has been present in the Serbian market for 15 years, specializing in the sale and installation of grain storage equipment. We collaborate with numerous domestic and international equipment manufacturers.

We offer various technological solutions aimed at reducing grain storage and maintenance costs.

Fire Protection

Ridurit boards, 20 or 25 mm thick, are reinforced with fiberglass, which gives them high strength and allows fastening with screws or face-joining using metal clips. This allows for quick and economical cladding of steel beams and columns without the need for additional substructures. The most economical thickness of Ridurit cladding depends on the required fire resistance.

We provide the required fire resistance for partition walls and suspended ceilings. Depending on the required level of fire resistance, we determine the appropriate combination of fire-resistant boards for the given application.

All completed work is accompanied by the necessary certifications.

Dry Plastering

When walls are dry-plastered using gypsum boards and adhesive instead of mortar, the surface must be solid, dry, and protected from rain and frost. The wall should be degreased, old plaster residues removed, and primed with a suitable undercoat.

Installations are mounted on the wall before fixing the boards. Junction boxes, switches, and sockets should protrude about 2 cm from the wall. Once the adhesive-coated boards are placed, they should be tapped with a rubber mallet and pressed with a straightedge to level them both horizontally and vertically. A long straightedge or a special leveling tool should span at least three board widths.

Wall Cladding

The substructure is made from metal UD profiles 30/30/30 mm fixed to the floor and ceiling, and CD profiles 28/60/28 mm anchored to the wall using spacers. The space between profiles is filled with thermal and sound insulation, and then covered with 12.5 mm thick gypsum boards. A vapor barrier can be installed behind the gypsum boards to prevent moisture penetration.

This cladding system is ideal for covering beams and columns for aesthetic purposes and for concealing piping and electrical installations.

Attic Renovation

The drywall system is ideal for attic adaptations. Special attention should be paid to proper construction techniques and manufacturer guidelines. Proper installation of insulation is crucial for future comfort and quality. The insulation thickness must allow for adequate roof ventilation and optimal thermal performance. A vapor-permeable but waterproof membrane is essential for regulating moisture flow.

Partition Walls

The hollow space between gypsum boards is effectively used for routing installations. Partition walls are constructed from a metal substructure (50 mm, 75 mm, or 100 mm) and covered on both sides with 12.5 mm thick gypsum boards. Horizontal UW profiles are lined with sound-insulating tape and fastened to the floor and ceiling. Vertical CW profiles are inserted between the UW profiles.

The substructure is covered on both sides with one or two layers of 12.5 mm gypsum boards. The space between the boards is filled with thermal and sound insulation and used for installations. In bathrooms or wet areas, moisture-resistant boards are used, suitable for waterproofing coatings and ceramic tile application. Gypsum partition walls offer speed and cleanliness during construction.

Suspended Ceilings

Suspended ceilings enhance interior aesthetics, enable the installation of lighting and ventilation systems, and provide sound insulation between floors. All ceiling shapes can be formed with gypsum boards, hiding light sources for a special visual effect. Due to their broad application, many materials and solutions have been developed. Besides gypsum boards, AMF grid ceilings (typically 600 x 600 mm) are widely used. Aluminum strip ceilings, such as Hunter Douglas and Dampa types, are also popular.

Suspended gypsum ceilings are constructed using a metal CD/UD substructure and 12.5 mm thick Knauf or Rigips gypsum boards fixed with drywall screws. The substructure consists of CD profiles 28/60/28 mm arranged in a two-directional grid and UD profiles 30/30/30 mm. Profiles are hung from the ceiling using spring hangers and metal anchors.
