Cliovar, Lda started its activity on March 1, 2003 with the opening of the Head Office in Ovar as a response to a need in the region to have a Clinic specialized in occupational health services.

On May 17, 2004, Segursaúde, Lda was founded, specializing in Hygiene and Safety at Work and Hygiene and Food Safety services, as a complement to the services provided by Cliovar, Lda.

With the increase in demand for health services at work and the need to travel to our customers, on June 19, 2004, the Mobile Health Unit was acquired.

In response to the growth of the business and the increase in the area covered, Cliovar, Lda opened a branch on the 15th of June 2011, located in Aveiro.
