Throughout the summer, the bicycle ferry sails between the two islands Alrø and Hjarnø. Although the islands are quite close to the mainland, you can undoubtedly feel the special eastern atmosphere. Idyllic half-timbered houses, small charming churches and wild nature await the trip.
Unites the north side with the south side of the fjord
When you buy a ticket with the bicycle ferry, you also get the trip with the Hjarnø ferry from Hjarnø to Snaptun on the south side of the fjord included in the price. From the south side of the fjord you can come by ferry to Hjarnø and from Hjarnø on to Alrø. Alrø is landlocked with the northern part of the fjord via a dam. This makes it possible to cycle or walk the popular route around Horsens Fjord.
