Almere College

Almere College is a meeting school for secondary education. This means that we are a school where we meet each other on a daily basis and where we treat each other in a careful manner: with respect for each other. For us, meeting also means that you decide together to make it a good time at school. At Almere College we are interested in each other and we want to get to know each other better. Together with our students and employees, we want to give shape and content to the meeting every day. With great enthusiasm!

At our school you lay the foundation for your further school career in the first year. Professional knowledge and skills prepare you for the continuation in VMBO, HAVO, Atheneum or Gymnasium. Our school employs expert teachers who have an eye, heart and ear for you. We offer you help and support where needed.
In general, the higher the grade, the more independent you should be able to work. We do our best to guide you in this as well as possible. We do this of course with the personal commitment of teachers, but also with that of the mentors, the educational supporters and the school management.

The streams that we have at our school are the basic profession-oriented learning path (VMBO BBL) and the framework-professional learning path (VMBO KBL) on the VIA.

MAVO, HAVO and VWO (Gymnasium and Atheneum) at the location at the Marinus Postlaan.

Within the streams of the VBMO you can get learning path support. We call this the Learning Path Support Education (LWOO).
