Parking

You can park in the spacious parking lot opposite the entrance of AquaZoo Leeuwarden. View the parking rates here .

Wheelchairs

AquaZoo Leeuwarden is very accessible for wheelchair users. You can come across some gates that you need help with. Park staff are always happy to help. Only the Seal Safari and the rowing boats are unfortunately not accessible with a wheelchair.

There is a wheelchair toilet in the park and there are wheelchairs to borrow. It is advisable to book this in advance via info@aquazoofriesland.nl .

Pets and service dogs

Pets are not allowed in the park. This in connection with the safety of your pet and the animals in the park.

Guide dogs and assistance dogs are only allowed if they have been vaccinated. The petting zoo and other walk-through enclosures, such as with the kangaroos, ring-tailed lemurs and penguins, cannot be visited. Employees are always willing to help indicate an adapted route.

The dogs must always be on a short leash. Assistants of service dogs may be asked to show their ID.

Feeding animals

The animals in AquaZoo Leeuwarden may only be fed with food from the machines present there. A handful of food costs only € 0.50. Other animal species may not be fed to ensure the safety for the visitor and the health of the animal.
