Braga Cathedral

The collections of the Treasury-Museum of the Cathedral of Braga, as a whole, testify more than XV centuries of the history of Art and of the life of the Church in Braga.

It holds a valuable collection made up of the collections of Jewelery, Sculpture, Painting, Textiles, Furniture, Ceramics, as well as a whole set of objects related to Catholic worship.

The Permanent Exhibition, Roots of Eternity. Jesus Christ – A Church, consecrated to sacred art, allows, through different nuclei, to revisit the life of Jesus Christ and the history of the Church in Braga. This is told taking as a reference some archbishops, from the 5th century to the 20th century. The narration is complemented with the nuclei dedicated to vestment and jewelery.
