Welcome to Camp Aloa – a family-run retreat on the island of Brač, where nature, comfort, and tradition come together to create an unforgettable holiday experience.
Camp Aloa is located on the south side of the island of Brac, hidden in a beautiful pine forest just a few kilometers from the famous tourist resort of Bol which is recognizable for its beach Zlatni Rat (Golden Cape, Golden Horn), crystal clear sea, and pure nature.
We are a family owned business and have been catering for over 15 years. Everything you see in our camp, are the fruits of our many years of work and passion for the work we do. The campsite is attended at all times by several servants who are always at your disposal.

OUTSIDE Camp Aloa
Dragon’s Cave
near Murvica village, was a temple and dwelling of Glagolitic priests, with a dragon relief. The cave has four halls, including a Chapel of our Lady, with reliefs of Madonna, angels, and more. It contains elements of Slavic mythology and Christian iconography, with ancient pagan creed reconciled with Christianity. Visits require a guide.
Eco Ethno
Village Murvica
west of Camp Aloa, it has old architecture, unique local cuisine restaurants, and vineyards tended by local land workers.
Stipancic Hermitage
founded in the second half of the 15th century, it is located between Bol and Murvica, under a cliff called Hib. The hermitage was inhabited by Franciscan tertiaries, including a community of pious women. The church is consecrated to the Nativity of the B.V.M. and SS. Cosmas and Damian, with the year 1477 carved on the facade.
Dračeva luka
Situated on the southern part of the island, not far from Bol and Murvica. Besides a lovely beach that is caressed by the crystal clear sea, this cove must be visited for the monastic remains dating back to the 15th century.
Zlatni rat Beach –
The Golden Cape
also known as The Golden Cape/Horn, is a popular beach located 2 kilometers from Camp grounds. The shape and length of the spit varies with tide, current, and wind, and changes occur every two to three years due to weather conditions. The farthest end of the beach, usually turned towards the east, may shift to the west during a strong south-easterly wind known as the Jugo.
Vidova Gora
the highest peak on the Island of Brač, is 780m above sea level. It offers a vantage point with views of the islands of South Dalmatia. The trail, starting from Bol near Zlatni Rat beach, is rocky and dry. It’s best to plan the route for winter, spring, or fall to avoid the heat of summer. The downhill section is an exciting all-mountain descent. Combine with other routes such as Blaca, Milna-Vidova Gora, or Supetar-Vidova Gora.
Discover the Essence of Brač
On the sun-drenched southern slopes of Brač, our family has nurtured vineyards for over two centuries. From these rocky terraces comes Plavac Mali – a bold and romantic red wine with notes of dark fruit and spice.
Produced through organic Eco winemaking, without additives or chemicals, each bottle reflects tradition, purity, and the unique terroir of Mali Zagradac. With limited production and exceptional quality, our wines are best enjoyed with fish, meats, and cheeses – or simply shared in good company.
Olive Oil & Local Spirits
Just like our wine, our tradition extends to olive oil and spirits.
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Our olive groves, located on the sunny southern coast of Brač, produce premium extra virgin olive oil following strict organic farming standards. Fresh, fragrant, and full of Mediterranean flavor, it’s a true taste of the island.
Domestic Spirits
We also craft a wide range of traditional spirits from local fruits and herbs. Enjoy Loza from grapes, Višnjevac from cherries, or unique creations from walnut, fig, and myrtle – each bottle capturing the authentic flavors of Dalmatia.
Experience the magic of Brač – from vineyards and olive groves to the crystal-clear sea.
