Clínica de Gondomar is an institution dedicated, among others, to the provision of medical services and diagnostic aids that celebrated its thirty-fifth anniversary in October 2018.

It started its activity in 1983 with 6 offices, 8 doctors and a nursing station, which provided services for 15 hours. With dedication, commitment and professionalism, a respected clinic was established and distinguished by the quality of the services provided.

Founded with the objective of creating a central structure, that would offer Gondomarenses qualified and specialized health care, in order to centralize a service in the city that would avoid the numerous trips to the city of Porto, with all the resulting costs, due to the in Gondomar there is a lack of a unit that could, in a capable way, respond to the legitimate wishes of its population, especially with regard to complementary diagnostic tests.

Having as management objective the reinvestment of its profits over the years, it allowed a sustained growth of an institution that, together with the growth of its physical and technological infrastructures, is an entity that generates jobs, ensuring several dozens of jobs.

Currently, Clínica de Gondomar provides health care to several thousand patients per year, covering a wide age group of users, from children to the elderly, and is undoubtedly a reference clinic in the entire metropolitan area of ​​Porto.

Supported by more than 70 Doctors and Technicians and around 30 Administrative staff, it makes Clínica de Gondomar today a benchmark in terms of the diversity of services provided, as well as the level of quality of care and monitoring dedicated to its Users, reflecting the flow average daily frequency of the same, providing about 40 Medical Specialties and Auxiliary Means of Diagnosis.
