Danske Lægers Vaccinations Service is Denmark’s largest provider of vaccinations. The company has approx. 250 doctors and nurses affiliated and has since 1998 vaccinated more than 3,000,000 Danes.
Danske Lægers Vaccinations Service is a 100% owned subsidiary of European LifeCare Group A / S. In Denmark, only business is run under the name Danske Lægers Vaccinations Service.
The parent company’s name, European LifeCare Group A / S, reflects the group’s international ambitions, which have so far led to the company also having activities in England.
European LifeCare Group A / S has previously been listed on NASDAQ First North and is today owned by more than 500 shareholders.
The company is managed by CEO Andrew Paulsen, while the responsibility for the medical profession is handled by chief physician dr. with. Mogens Rishøj.
Travel vaccination
Danske Lægers Vaccinations Service operates more than 30 vaccination clinics across the country, from which thousands of Danes are vaccinated in connection with stays abroad. A large number of companies have agreements that ensure that their employees, typically in connection with work-related travel activities, can be vaccinated in our nationwide network of clinics.
We also offer outpatient vaccination to larger groups of travelers such as. after schools and the like where we go out to the schools and carry out counseling and vaccination.
Influenza vaccination
In collaboration with municipalities, companies and patient / elderly associations, the Danish Doctors’ Vaccination Service has so far:
- Planned and implemented more than 20,000 group vaccination events against influenza, the majority for the elderly, early retirees and the chronically ill who are vaccinated free of charge on behalf of the state.
- Vaccinated more than 3 million. Danish citizens.
- Vaccinated more than 40,000 immobile citizens in their own homes.
- Serves annually approx. 1,200 Danish companies that offer their employees vaccination against influenza.
Other forms of vaccination
The company also offers e.g. vaccination of corporate employees, often vaccination related to work tasks, such as forest workers being vaccinated against the tick-borne central European encephalitis, employees in kindergartens with an increased risk of hepatitis B infection or employees in companies working with wastewater.
The company also has agreements with a large number of companies which ensure that their employees in connection with travel activities can receive advice and vaccination at any of our clinics, but where settlement takes place directly to the company.
Activities outside Denmark
European LifeCare Group A / S owns and operates European Vaccination Group Ltd in the UK, which through its subsidiaries Vaccination UK, The Globe Travel Health Center and Winchester Travel Health employs approx. 60 doctors and nurses, vaccinate in many schools on behalf of the English health authorities and service approx. 300 English companies.
As in Denmark, independent vaccination clinics are run with a focus on travel vaccination, while the company’s doctors and nurses service companies with vaccination of their employees at their workplace and provide vaccination for the health authorities, typically in connection with vaccination programs aimed at school children or vulnerable citizens.
