From Portas do Sol belvedere in Santarém City, we have a  beautiful view of the plains of Ribatejo´s marsh, where the vineyards are predominant, with the flowing waters of Tejo River and behind it all, the beautiful city of Almeirim. 

Recognized nationally and abroad for its famous “Sopa da Pedra”*, Almeirim is also known for its melons and wines. 

In this city, the  Fiuza winery, with its well rooted traditions, is part of a historical patrimony in the production of quality wines. 

Duly identified and with road sign-posts, it is located nearby the northeast entrance of Almeirim City. 

The historic  winery has combined history with state of the art  technology. Recently was graffited by two portuguese artists that gave the building a new charm.

The winery is open to the public for guided tours, tastings and gastronomic events.
