Gelre hospitals, created from a merger in 1999, has a relatively short history. However, we live on a rich and diverse past. We are now a household name when it comes to providing the correct medical specialist care.
With more than 3,600 committed employees, from medical specialist to volunteer, we work every day to improve health for the 350,000 people in our service area. In this way we are figuratively and literally (in) the heart of healthcare in our region. In addition, we fulfill a supraregional function based on our specific knowledge and expertise in a number of medical fields.
