Every Friday and Saturday you can have an extra special experience when Griffenfelds serves 9 share-friendly dishes with lots of flavor and love. The wine waiter finds 4-5 wines, beers or home brews from the cellar that match the food. The restaurant calls this a “sharing weekend”, which is a form of social dining in Jutland, where you can enjoy, enjoy, taste and not least share – at a completely favorable price.
Not just for golfers
The restaurant is located in connection with the clubhouse at Stensballegård Golf Club, which is among the best and most beautiful golf courses in the country. A visit to the restaurant is obvious after a few hours on the golf course, but you are of course also welcome when you just want a delicious dinner or in connection with a walk by the forests in Stensballe. The restaurant is quite close to the popular Husodde Beach and the hiking route Banestien Horsens-Odder. From here, a beautiful grass path leads up to the golf club.

Griffenfelds can accommodate more than 100 diners and is an obvious choice for larger parties. The restaurant also provides food for events out of the house with the Chef out of the House.

Did you know that…
The restaurant, located in Stensballe in northeastern Horsens, is named after one of Denmark’s powerful men in the 17th century – Peder Griffenfeld, who lived on Stensballegaard Estate. Griffenfeld was Chancellor in 1674-76. In 1699 he was buried in Vær Church, where you can still see his coffin.
