Kallavere Hospital is located near Tallinn in Maardu. The hospital buildings are surrounded by beautiful greenery with native trees and shrubs, which offers patients the opportunity to walk and relax in peace and quiet.
The hospital building was built in 1962. Before that, the hospital was a ten-bed health center with a small outpatient clinic, located on the territory of the “Eesti Fosforiit” factory in Maardu. Upon completion of the hospital building, the provision of medical services was expanded, medical care was available to all residents of Kallavere and the surrounding villages, as well as Harju County and Tallinn. The hospital had internal, surgical, gynecological and children’s departments.
In 1992, the outpatient clinic building was completed. In it, medical care was provided by specialists in almost all specialties, but the hospital building remained for inpatients. The availability of medical care improved significantly, people no longer had to go to Tallinn to see a specialist.
By now, the hospital and polyclinic buildings have been completely renovated and modernized. Kallavere Hospital provides inpatient nursing care in single, double and triple wards. In addition, patients receive rehabilitation treatment and rehabilitation services.
If necessary, patients are provided with high-quality treatment by specialists. There are opportunities for X-ray and laboratory examinations.
Our goal is to provide patients with quality care, nursing care and general care, and for this we have the appropriate facilities, equipment and conscientious and helpful staff with extensive experience.
Since April 2016, the paid general care department of the hospital has been open.
