Omega d.o.o. is a family-owned company founded in 1990 in Živinice, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Over more than three decades, Omega has grown from one of the country’s first private trading companies into a market leader in household appliances, electronics, and fast-moving consumer goods.
Since 2002, Omega has been the official representative of global brands Beko and Grundig, offering a wide range of household appliances and televisions. The company serves over 300 wholesale clients across Bosnia and Herzegovina through four distribution centers in Tuzla, Živinice, Sarajevo, and Banja Luka, with its central hub in Tuzla.
Omega’s retail network spans 39 “Omega Shop” stores nationwide, complemented by online sales at www.omegashop.ba. All products come with Omega’s own warranty and access to its dedicated service network, established in 2005 to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
In the FMCG sector, Omega is the general representative for brands including Zelene Doline, Bravo, Orasi, Rubio, Splendor, Vegamix, Salbos, Biljana, Fresh, DO-DO, Martex, and Mammut, delivering quality products throughout the country.
With a workforce of 350 employees and a logistics fleet of over 100 vehicles, Omega combines experience, reliability, and innovation to meet the needs of both businesses and consumers. In 2020, the company expanded into real estate with its subsidiary Omega Nekretnine d.o.o., developing residential and commercial properties.
Wholesale of Household Appliances and Consumer Electronics
Omega d.o.o.’s main business division is the distribution of household appliances and consumer electronics, serving over 200 wholesale clients and operating 36 retail stores across Bosnia and Herzegovina. Since 2002, Omega has been the exclusive distributor of Beko and Grundig, holding approximately 50% market share in appliance sales in the country.
With more than 30 years of experience, Omega has a well-established wholesale network and strong business relationships with its clients. The company operates a dedicated commercial team for sales and a joint procurement service. Distribution is handled from three locations: Tuzla, Sarajevo, and Banja Luka, with the main distribution center in Tuzla featuring over 10,000 m² of warehouse space. Deliveries to wholesale clients and retail outlets are carried out using Omega’s own fleet of vehicles, a key asset in the company’s logistics operations.
Omega is the general representative and importer for two internationally recognized brands:
- Beko – Household appliances
- Grundig – Consumer electronics
All Beko and Grundig products are supplied via the Belgrade distribution center, covering Northeastern Europe, with production originating in Turkey. Since 2019, Omega has utilized an ERP system to streamline operations and achieve optimal business results.
Beko has been available in Bosnia and Herzegovina since 2002. Omega recognized the brand’s quality early on and developed a strong sales network and service infrastructure, ensuring customer confidence. Founded in Turkey in 1955, Beko has grown into a leading European appliance brand. Over the last two decades, Beko has focused on innovation, simplicity, and practical technology, making everyday life easier for its customers.
Grundig, a German brand with a 70-year tradition, has been part of Omega’s portfolio since 2007, following Arçelik’s acquisition of the brand. Grundig products primarily include consumer electronics, with TVs and small household appliances available in Omega stores.
FMCG Distribution – Delivering Quality Brands Across Bosnia and Herzegovina
The sale of fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) was the foundation on which Omega d.o.o. was built, and it grew to become one of the largest trading companies in the Tuzla Canton.
In 2007, Omega signed a long-term partnership agreement with Mercator BH, transferring its retail chain in the region while continuing to sell FMCG brands through wholesale distribution. Today, Omega maintains a well-developed distribution system for several widely recognized imported brands.
Sales are managed by experienced commercial teams and field representatives, ensuring professional service and reliable delivery. Since 2019, the implementation of an ERP system and a mobile application has significantly improved field operations, while in 2022, Omega introduced WMS (Warehouse Management System) in its distribution centers to streamline logistics further.
FMCG products are distributed from three main centers: Živinice, Sarajevo, and Banja Luka. The Živinice distribution center, with over 6,000 m² of warehouse space, serves as the central hub for supplying other warehouses and clients in the region.
Deliveries are made using Omega’s own fleet of vehicles, a key resource that ensures timely and efficient service to all customers.
Omega Shopping Centers – A Destination for Everyone
Omega d.o.o. owns two major shopping centers: Robna Kuća Tuzlanka and Omega Center Živinice, offering commercial spaces to over 100 tenants.
These centers are vibrant gathering places for people of all generations, featuring a wide variety of services and stores, including:
