OSAO (until 1.1.2020 Oulu Region Vocational College ) is a multidisciplinary vocational college operating in the Oulu region , where 8,500 young people and adults study. OSAO’s 12 training units are located in Kempele, Liminga, Oulu, Muhos, Pudasjärvi and Taivalkoski. There are 34 different vocational undergraduate degrees and there are 66 degree programs at OSAO, alongside which it is also possible to do high school studies. A professional degree gives eligibility for university studies.
There are seven fields of study at OSAO: culture, science, natural resources and the environment, tourism, nutrition and the economy, social, health and sports, technology and transport, and social sciences, business and administration.
OSAO also organizes apprenticeship training as well as training for vocational undergraduate and vocational and specialist qualifications. OSAO has 900 employees.
