Folk high school is a form of education for adult education in folkbildning. Oskarshamn Folk High School is mainly aimed at adult students, from 18 years and up. Here are qualifying courses for those who do not have primary or secondary school education, vocational education, special courses in, among other things, music and courses that are carried out on behalf of, for example, the Swedish Public Employment Service.

In addition to being a school, Oskarshamn Folk High School is also a popular conference facility with a restaurant that offers today’s lunch both to everyone at the school and to the public. The school also runs a hostel.
