The Timothy School teaches and educates from and according to the Bible. The aim of education and upbringing at our school is to prepare children for the future through primary and secondary education. Preparing it for the future includes personal education and social responsibility.
Vision
Identity and quality are the golden thread at our school, as an extension of the education at home.
Philosophy of life
The foundation of our school for education and upbringing is the Bible. For this we use the Statenvertaling, the psalms from the Rhyming of 1773 and the Three Forms of Unity.
Social developments
At our school we focus on the Biblical values and norms, which are summarized in the Ten Commandments (Exodus 20: 1-7). We consciously deal with social themes to promote citizenship and cohesion.
Pedagogical climate
We act pedagogically in a healthy, safe and friendly learning environment
Didactic action
We choose a clear structure in the educational activities. We do this by using the direct instruction model in a challenging learning environment with contemporary and safe materials.
Organization
We encourage an active and learning attitude of our students, teachers and parents. We ensure good cooperation between family, church and school through good communication.
Mission
In our school, as God asks of us, students are offered good education by teachers with the involvement of parents. We take into account the possibilities and differences of all those involved. We work on optimally responsible, appropriate education. This requires a learning attitude from us. Our school is a safe learning environment. To ensure this, there is openness to address each other.
