A training at Winford ensures optimal preparation for the future. In a safe and challenging learning environment in which ambition and development are self-evident conditions, we prepare our students for the next step.
Small classes
Small scale is the most important pillar of our success. Our small classes of 6 to 12 students allow our teachers to teach in a truly student-oriented way. Because there is a lot of room for dialogue with each individual student, they can tailor the lesson content very specifically to the individual skills. The result is that the pupil experiences the education as very personal and there is a calm and relaxed climate in the lessons.
Much attention to study skills
Pupils get much more out of their talent if they master a good study approach. Winford pays a lot of attention to the right techniques and attitudes to achieve optimal study results. Planning skills and building up and organizing knowledge according to a clear structure play an important role in this. In addition, the thorough analysis and summarization of texts and the separation of main and side issues is a fixed part of all the lessons. These study techniques are also very useful in further education.
A clear structure
Education at Winford is provided in a clear structure. There is almost no dropout and there are clear agreements between the school and the students about arriving on time, doing homework and behavior. The students know exactly what is expected of them.
The atmosphere at our school is characterized by fun, respect and trust. This good atmosphere and clear frameworks ensure a positive study climate in which performance is the norm.
Customization in the learning demand
It is essential for our education that it meets the learning needs of the student as closely as possible. We map these accurately with a preliminary survey that we conduct with every new student. In this way we can offer our students a tailor-made package, a level and a pace. This allows our teachers to tailor the lessons optimally to the individual skills of the students.
Motivated and committed teachers
Motivated and genuinely committed teachers work at Winford. They like to take the time for their students. To practice new knowledge, for extra explanation, or to check whether the student has really understood the lesson material.
