Guided tour of the church of St. The Spirit, which currently serves as a concert hall. The building of the church and the adjacent hospital is one of the oldest monuments in Krnov. After reconstruction, the Gothic church and the Baroque hospital are the real pride of Krnov. The greatest rarities of the church are the original colored frescoes on the walls of the church by an unknown author, which date from the mid-15th century. These are 27 paintings with scenes from the Old and New Testaments arranged in a strip. Due to its scope, age and method of processing, this set is unique in the whole of northern Moravia and Silesia.
The history of organ building began in Krnov in the 19th century. Franz Rieger, a native of the village of Sosnová, became a pioneer of the organ tradition in Krnov. His organ was also located in the church of St. Ducha. It was a one-manual organ. In 1988, an organ was placed in the church, in the construction of which the artistic advisor for organ construction Ing. Bohumil Plánský. It is an instrument with the opus number 3600. An interesting feature is the garage under the gaming table for storing the Petrof concert grand piano. In 2010, the organ was modernized.
