About Adeas

At Adeas, we are an interdisciplinary team consisting of doctors, nurses and medical secretaries. We all have many years of experience in the various specialties and we have deliberately tried to create a team that works well together both professionally and personally.We have wanted to create a spirit at Adeas, where the good atmosphere, the professional approach and the personal care are felt from the first meeting. We have employed some of the greatest capacities within our specialties and common to us all is that we take great pride in offering the best care and treatment. We assess this both on research results, our own experience and not least on the feedback we receive from our patients.We conduct systematic patient satisfaction surveys, which are calculated and analyzed every quarter, so that we are constantly aware of our patients’ wishes and needs.Adeas is accredited according to the Danish Quality Model (DDKM) in December 2010 without remarks. DDKM is a national and cross-cutting quality development system for the healthcare system, developed to create continuous learning and quality development. It is this system that all public and private hospitals in Denmark are also / must be accredited according to.

Skodsborg Hospital’s history

King Frederik the 7th bought the country house “Skodsborg” in 1852. Together with his wife, Countess Danner, he spent the summer on the country house, until his death in 1863. The king held state councils, meetings and tables in Villa Rex, which was built in 1857.Villa Rex has been recently renovated, and the Council Chamber – today called the King’s Hall – has been restored according to the original sketches with colors and decor. The villa stands today as it did in the 19th century.Skodsborg Badesanatorium was a sanatorium located in Skodsborg along Strandvejen between Copenhagen and Elsinore. The buildings now house the Medial Center, where Adeas is located, and Skodsborg Kurhotel & Spa.
