The Aveiro School Group, as an organic unit of the Ministry of Education, consists of eight educational establishments ranging from Pre-School to Secondary Education (Table 1). In addition to this group of establishments, there is also the Baixo Vouga Hospital Center (where we teach in Pediatrics) and the Aveiro Prison (where three EFA Courses operate). The following information is for September 2017.

Of the 106 classes and 2,552 students enrolled in the Aveiro School Group, pre-school children and 1st cycle students represent 44% of the total student population.

- Early Intervention .
- Specialized Support for Multideficiency (1st to 9th Year of Schooling – UAEM at EB Barrocas and EB João Afonso).
- Blind and low vision (From Pre-School Education to Secondary Education).
- Specialized Artistic Teaching (Articulated Music Teaching, 2nd Cycle).
