Criteria set for the admission of pupils to compulsory schooling
in the school year 2021/2022
The following criteria are set for the admission of a child to primary education at the Bruntál Primary School, Jesenická 10:
- The age of the child
- in accordance with Act No. 561/2004 Coll., on pre-school, primary, secondary, higher vocational and other education (School Act), as amended, and in accordance with Decree No. 48/2005 Coll., on basic education and certain requirements for the fulfillment of compulsory school attendance, as amended
- Residence in the school district
- Pupils with a place of permanent residence in the school district of the Bruntál Primary School, Jesenická 10, stipulated by the General Binding Decree of the City of Bruntál No. 1/2021 on the determination of school districts of primary schools established by the City of Bruntál
- School capacity
- its fulfillment is the reason for not accepting a child who does not have a place of permanent residence in the school district of the Primary School Bruntál, Jesenická 10
- First class capacity
- in accordance with the long-term concept of school development, a maximum of three first classes will be opened in the school year 2021/2022, the number of pupils is limited by the highest permitted number of pupils set by Decree No. 48/2005 Coll., as amended
Pupils fulfilling criteria 1, 2 will be admitted to basic education at this school.
Criteria 3, 4 are decisive for the admission of a child with a place of permanent residence outside the school district of the Bruntál Primary School, Jesenická 10.
If there are more people interested in admission with a place of permanent residence outside the school district of the Bruntál Primary School, Jesenická 10, than we will be able to accept, the lot will be decided on admission. The draw will be closed to the public, and members of the school board will draw in the presence of the school management.
The postponement of compulsory school attendance granted last year is not a reason for preferential admission.
Due to the planned occupancy of the first classes, this year we will be able to accept pupils with permanent residence outside our school district.
If you decide to apply for a postponement of compulsory school attendance, we will try to ensure that your children open a preparatory class directly at our school.

If the child or the child’s legal guardian for serious reasons can not in the above
the legal representative of the child shall notify the school of this fact and agree on an alternative date of enrollment by 30 April 2021. The same admission criteria apply to him as for enrollment in due time.
We will notify the legal representatives of the acceptance or non-acceptance of the child under the assigned registration number on the school’s website and a notice board.
