The windmill was ceremoniously opened in 2004. The floor of the lookout tower is 11 m above the ground and the building itself is with its 15 meters the highest of its kind in our country. 

On the ground floor there is a representative room with a fireplace, the first floor is an exhibition room for the presentation of works of art. On the second floor is a cross-section of the history of the village Bukovany, an exhibition of old utility objects and photographs from the life of the village. In the highest part of the building there is a lookout tower.
