Mission:
CHUC is an institution of the National Health Service, with the mission of:
a) the provision of high quality and differentiated health care, to patients in their area of influence and to those of regional and national origin, in conjunction with the other health care units integrated in the National Health Service;
b) the provision of healthcare, under obligations arising from international agreements and European referral networks;
c) the training of health professionals, pre-graduate and post-graduate education, and research, namely of a translational and clinical nature;
d) integrate national or international clinical academic networks and consortia.
