Since 2018, Dunavka, an oil factory located in Veliko Gradište, has been operating under Delta Agrar. The factory’s primary activity is the processing of sunflower, soybean, and rapeseed, producing crude oils and meal
The factory premises cover a total area of 91,054 square meters, and within the production section of the factory, there is a plant for the pre-refining of crude oils, i.e., oil degumming.
The oilseed processing program focuses on the production of semi-finished products, which serve as the primary raw material for further refining into finished oils and as a protein component in animal feed.
Dunavka has a processing capacity of 60,000 tons annually
Delta Agrar invested nearly 15 million euros into the factory’s renovation, enabling the revitalization of all four production plants, expanding storage capacities, and replacing all mechanical equipment in the silos, while also installing a new dryer and the most modern systems for coarse and fine purification of oilseeds.
Dunavka Oil Factory is continuously expanding its supplier network for commercial sunflower, soybeans, and rapeseed, raw materials essential to the production process, both with legal entities and registered agricultural households.
Primary production
Crop production
Crop production is carried out on approximately 10,000 hectares, following agrotechnical measures and utilizing the most modern agricultural machinery.
In practice, precision agriculture is applied, including variable fertilization and sowing, with the areas under this method continuously expanding through land mapping. The arable land on our estates is represented through a digital field map.
Fruit production
Delta Agrar’s orchards cover an area of about 700 hectares, located in regions with excellent climatic and edaphic conditions that enable high and stable yields. The production is carried out using modern technologies, making our orchards some of the most advanced and largest in this part of Europe.
Vegetable production
Vegetable production takes place on Delta Agrar’s farms in accordance with GLOBAL GAP standards, which apply not only to the production process in the field but also to storage. The entire area used for vegetable cultivation is equipped with an irrigation system.
Livestock production
Livestock production encompasses the breeding of pigs and dairy cattle. Pig production focuses on achieving the best results in the production of market-ready pigs with a high percentage of meat, while the primary goal of the dairy sector is to produce the highest quality milk.
Trade and distribution
Seeds
Our commitment to the most advanced genetics and careful selection of varieties brings long-term trust from customers. The seed program is implemented through the production and distribution of wheat, barley, corn, and soybean seeds, and the distribution of sunflower and rapeseed seeds.
Pesticides
As part of our agro-distribution operations, the pesticide sector achieves its business results through the procurement and distribution of the highest quality plant protection products via our distribution centers in Futog, Čačak, and Kruševac.
Agricultural Commodity Exchange
Delta Agrar is also engaged in the trading of exchange-listed agricultural products and is one of the leading grain exporters in Serbia.
Mineral Fertilizers
Delta Agrar is involved in both the import and domestic procurement of mineral fertilizers, as well as their distribution on the local market.
Mechanization
Delta Agrar began the distribution of agricultural machinery in January 2006 from its center in Bački Jarak.
