FitnessFys

Denmark

You are welcomed at FitnessFys, your local physiotherapist in Sædding, Esbjerg. As a new patient at the clinic, we have summarized 12 points that you can benefit from knowing.

Appointments can be made in three ways:

2. What do you need to bring:

For each treatment, you are very welcome to bring 2 pcs. beach towels and remember your mobile / calendar so we can find time for a new appointment.

3. Find out if you can get a grant from Denmark:

If you are a member of Sygeforsikring Danmark, you will receive a subsidy for the treatment if you have a referral. The subsidy is DKK 133 for the first consultation and DKK 88 for subsequent treatments. The clinic does not have an agreement with the health insurance, and you therefore do not need a referral to come to us.

4. Talk to your insurance company / health insurance:

Many insurance companies cover treatments related to injuries and accidents. But in the first instance, you pay for the treatment yourself.

Three tips:

  • Ask your employer if they have insurance or health insurance that provides subsidies for physical therapy.
  • Be aware that you can get a subsidy from both the health insurance and from Denmark.
  • Remember to get a referral from your own doctor first, and then inform your insurance company that you want to be treated at FitnessFys in Esbjerg.

5. Settlement:

At FitnessFys, we prefer to pay with mobilepay or cash, but it is also possible to pay with Visa / Dankort and Mastercard, but not the “pure Dankort”.

6. Prices and transparency:

Whichever treatment you choose, then there it included in the price. This means that you do not pay extra to receive eg acupuncture as part of your treatment.

7. Cancellation:

Cancellations must be made as soon as possible and preferably the day before. If a cancellation is announced later than 24 hours before the treatment time, a fee corresponding to the treatment price will be charged.

8. Drink well with water:

The different types of treatment all excrete a lot of waste substances and it should subsequently be excreted with the urine. Therefore, remember to drink well with water after the treatment.

9. Pain and tenderness after treatment:

There is a big difference in how one responds to the treatment. Fortunately, most people experience immediate symptom relief. However, it is not uncommon for individuals to experience a flare-up of symptoms after treatment, such as soreness, nausea, headache or fatigue. Most often it will occur within a few hours after the treatment, and as a starting point, it is just a sign that the body’s healing processes have started. Often one has to have one more treatment and the problem rarely occurs afterwards.

10. Cancel your time if you are ill:

If you are ill, it is important that you cancel your appointment so that you do not infect the therapist or the other patients.

11. Good Parking conditions and handicap friendly:

There are good free parking facilities out in front of the clinic. If you are walking poorly, you can keep right in front of the front door. Furthermore, the clinic is also handicap friendly.

12. For those by Bus:

The two bus stops that are closest are Sædding Ringvej v Fyrparken by the Ingo tank and Ådalsparken v Ådalshaven diagonally opposite Fitness World. It’s about. 3-4 min. once each way.
