The mining company OKD has completed the reclamation of large areas between the Karviná and Darkov mines. In an area formerly affected by mining, which until recently bore traces of mining activity, a natural area with an eighteen-hole golf course suitable for both professional and amateur players has sprung up. 

While experienced golfers will discover the pitfalls of the championship course, which is one of the longest in Europe with 3567 meters, a public golf course will allow literally everyone to try this sport at a reasonable price. Although the public playground is intended mainly for beginners, it boasts very decent parameters and a length of 1549 meters (the playing fee here is CZK 200 on weekdays, Saturday and Sunday CZK 50 more).
