The Great College of Póvoa de Varzim is a private and cooperative educational establishment, integrated in a Collegial Complex which includes two more educational establishments: Colégio Jardim das Cores (Vila do Conde) and Colégio de Amorim (PVZ).

Has the respective operating licenses issued by the competent entities:

• Creche – Operating License No. 21/2012, of July 27 (Social Security)
• Kindergarten and 1st CEB – Final Operating Authorization No. 57/2001, of 25 September (Ministry of Education)
• ATL- Permit No. 21/2003, of October 8 (Social Security)

The educational offer of the Great College of Póvoa de Varzim is part of an integrated school, with pedagogical parallelism.

Being a student the main recipient of the teaching-learning process, the Grande Colégio intends to instill in him the awareness that his commitment and responsible participation in the construction of his education as a full citizen is essential, appealing to the involvement committed by parents and guardians.
