Health promotion, disease prevention and provision of differentiated / specialized health care, in a comprehensive, personalized and integrated manner, in good time with quality and equity, implementing the policies defined above and the respective strategic plans, always taking into account the adaptability to regional and local needs. Participate in the training of new health professionals and update the knowledge of those who are in functions in the various institutions and services. Directly or indirectly develop clinical and scientific research projects.

Contractual Terms of Public Service Provision Public service provision, in quantitative and qualitative terms, is defined annually by entering into a Program Contract with the Central Administration of the Health System, IP (ACSS) and the Regional Health Administration of the Center , IP (ARSC).
Financing Model Underlying Public Service Provision Under the terms established in the Program Contract. It is based on a capital value, taking into account the characteristics of the population covered, plus the amount to be paid for medical internship and several vertical programs, subject to incentives and penalties depending on the fulfillment of the established goals.
