About the Hospital

The joint-stock company Nemocnice Tábor, as, is constantly striving to increase the level of provided medical services.

• in June 2015, the Tábor hospital received the CZECH Stability Award certificate for the second time . Tábor Hospital, as, achieved the highest possible level of AAA in the rating – excellent. The company is thus one of the most stable companies in the Czech Republic.
• In November 2013, Tábor Hospital received SAK Accreditation for 3 years
• In May 2012, Tábor Hospital received the Safe Hospital Certificate

On January 3, 2008, the concept of the complete reconstruction and modernization of the hospital was started with a symbolic tap on the foundation stone of the acute medicine pavilion. The priorities of the concept were clear. Start with the most fundamental area represented by acute medicine, continue with operating rooms, intensive care medicine and end with a complete reconstruction of the hospital’s bed stock. At present, the hospital boasts a new modern and highly comfortable gynecology and obstetrics department, a new, easily accessible anesthesiology and resuscitation department with uniform modern equipment, and six new built-in operating rooms equipped with the most modern devices currently in use. The overall timeless concept of operating theaters allows the use of new technologies in the future.As part of the project “Professional practice for young people under 30 in the South Bohemian Region”, we have filled a job in our company, which is co-financed by the European Social Fund and the state budget of the Czech Republic.
