The small Mediterranean town of Petrčane, near Zadar, is home to Hotel Pinija. The unique location on a natural peninsula provides the perfect balance between relaxation and active vacations, creating an ideal retreat to escape from everyday life.

The hotel was built in 1970 on a natural peninsula, in a pine forest, after which it got its name – Pinija. Due to the quality of the hotel facilities and the beach, it soon became recognized among domestic and foreign guests. It is one of the most popular bathing spots in the region for the local population in the summer months. Ownership of the company Intermod d.o.o. provides the hotel with continuous modernization with the aim of improving the offer and services, while a long-standing family tradition guarantees a warm and personal approach to every guest. Since 2001, the hotel has been completely modernized and a sports and recreation area with an indoor swimming pool and fitness center was built.
In 2008, the hotel was upgraded to a 4* category and a new outdoor pool was built. In 2015, a new Wellness & Spa center was built. In 2019, the hotel’s restaurant with a terrace was renovated and a sun deck was built by the pool. The year 2023 was marked by a new investment cycle in which the lobby, reception, aperitif bar with terrace and animation room were renovated.
In 2024, a significant investment began that will mark the further growth and development of the hotel – the construction of the Zadar Congress & Event Center with two multifunctional halls.

Our offer consists of 307 modern rooms that extend through 3 hotel wings, connected by the reception desk, a large foyer and aperitif bar. 4 hotel suites and 6 adapted rooms for the disabled will fulfill all expectations and needs. In our well -prepared meals, we pay particular attention to the quality of the food with which we prepare our meals. After enjoying the gastronomic experience, you can choose to relax by the pool, enjoy the beach or simply choose a quiet corner in one of our four bars.

The modernly decorated space, with a capacity of 400 seats, satisfies everyone’s taste with its offer. Delicious international and traditional cuisine is served on the rich buffet table, and our professional staff is at your service at all times.
Restaurant Kantun
Our á la carte restaurant on the beach is a perfect hideaway during hot summer days. Located on a beautiful terrace surrounded with greenery, the restaurant has 70 seats. The menu offers a perfect mix of Mediterranean, Italian and international meals as well as a wide selection of local and international drinks.

Wellness & Spa Center “Marea” with pools streads over 2000 m2 of indoor and 1000 m2 of outdoor space. Guests can enjoy the sauna, steam bath, Himalaya salt room and relax zone with a sea view. The wellness offer is based on an individual approach to every guest emphasizing an authentic “Pinija experience”. This is not only a place where you can relax your body but also enjoy face treatment, manicure and pedicure..

The relax room with a wall of Himalayan salt: Besides the enchanting color and lighting, the Himalayan crystal salt provides the body with excellent color therapy. It enriches the environment with healthy negative ions, and thus naturally alleviates the symptoms of allergies, fatigue and stress.

DONAT CONGRESS HALL
The hall, measuring 348 m², is located on the first floor of the newly developed Zadar Congress & Event Center, with a capacity of up to 355 participants. Its expansive glass walls and high ceilings provide an ideal setting for hosting large-scale congresses and events, offering a spacious and modern space.
FORUM CONGRESS HALL
This 283 m² hall, located on the ground floor of the newly established Zadar Congress & Event Center, accommodates up to 260 attendees. Designed for versatility, the space is ideal for hosting congresses and large events, while its movable partitions allow for the creation of smaller halls, perfectly suited for meetings or seminars with fewer participants.
RIVA CONGRESS HALL
The hall, spanning 172 m², is situated on the first floor of Hotel Pinija and accommodates up to 150 guests. Its bright and spacious layout, enhanced by natural light from windows on two sides, creates an ideal environment for hosting lectures, seminars, and other professional events.
FOŠA CONGRESS HALL
The hall is 87 m², located in the outer part of Hotel Pinija, offering natural light through large glass windows on two sides. With a capacity of up to 70 people, it is ideal for intimate conferences, meetings, or seminars.
