Hotel is situated in the heart of Split’s old palace, shop on the warmest area of Northern Mediterranean shore, in the centre of the Adriatic coast and near the rivers Jadro and Žrnovnica which supply the city with crystal clear drinking water. The proximity of Middle Dalmatian islands as well as the inland mountains makes Split the biggest transit point on Croatian side of the Adriatic.
You can get to our city under the Marjan hill by taking the Adriatic Coastal Road, which is winding through many bays and peninsulas of the coast; or you can use highways and roads which connect the continental Croatia with Dalmatia region and Split. It will take you 5 hours to get to Zagreb and 4 hours to get to Dubrovnik by car. You can also reach Split by getting onboard a ferryboat liner which is connecting the cities Rijeka on the north and Dubrovnik on south. Also local ferry lines are available for all the central Dalmatian islands. There are fast and regular ferry lines going from Ancona and Pescara, Italy to Split.
There are airway connections from the Airport Split departing for Zagreb several times a day, as well as to several European capitals. There are also train connections from Split to the north of the country and further on to the rest of the Europe, which all have an option of a car transfer.

Hotel Vestibul is located in the heart of the Diocletian palace, between the emperor’s chambers and the emperor’s square “Peristile”, a place which used to be reserved only for the gods. The hotel was created by merging three palaces from three different periods: Romanic, Gothic and Renaissance, with the wall elements of Diocletian’s palace, and the original niches from the time of the Romans. This combination optimally displays the physical presence of the eras which passed, where every stone has a story to tell.
The hotel is a combination between the modern and the antique, where the modern design of the interior is interwoven with the original walls of the Roman time.
