Linnala Settlement and College is a civic college in Savonlinna maintained by Linnala Settlement Association . Linnalan Setlementti ry is a private association belonging to the Finnish Settlement Association, which has been operating in Savonlinna since 1938. Its operating idea rises from the settlement movement principle: build bridges from person to person. The emphasis in the activity is on meeting different people. Linnala Setlementti ry’s activities include a civic college, art school, play school, senior center, friends and multicultural work. Activities also include youth work done by Linnala Youth. In addition to this, various projects and projects are being implemented. The college offers education and general education, opportunities for hobbies, encounters and recreation. Through its operations, Linnala also seeks to prevent social exclusion.
At Linnala College, it is possible to take language courses and general language exams , among other things .
