Regular water supply is achieved through the regular maintenance of municipal water supply facilities (sources, pumping stations, reservoirs, and pipelines), securing additional water quantities from the Regional Water Supply system for the areas of Krtoli, Vrijes, and Gradiošnica, as well as for the high zones of Krašići, performing connections for new buildings, planning, designing, and constructing new water supply systems, maintaining water quality through continuous analysis conducted by authorized institutions, and collecting service fees to ensure funding for the company’s operations.
Wastewater disposal is carried out through sewerage systems, specifically via the main Seljanovo-Tivat-Solila collector, passing through pumping stations in Seljanovo, Kalimanj, Gradiošnica, and Solila, as well as through a secondary sewer network to which almost all major facilities are connected.
In addition to these services, LLC “Water Supply and Sewerage” Tivat also provides technical requirements for new buildings in the field of water supply and wastewater disposal, grants approvals for completed facilities, issues permits for connections to the water supply and sewerage network, monitors and controls connections, and provides support to the Municipality of Tivat’s Construction Directorate, designers, supervisors, and contractors.
According to the census completed in 2011, the Municipality of Tivat has 14,111 inhabitants.
