Ltd. Montenegrin Electric Distribution System (CEDIS)

Montenegrin Electricity Distribution System (CEDIS) is the national company responsible for electricity distribution across Montenegro.


Established as an independent legal entity in 2016, following its separation from the Montenegrin Electric Power Company (EPCG), CEDIS operates within the country’s unified power system. Its core mission is to ensure reliable, safe, and high-quality electricity supply to all users throughout Montenegro.

CEDIS is fully owned by the Montenegrin Electric Power Company (EPCG), and its headquarters is located at Ivana Milutinovica 12 Street, Podgorica.

Our Role


CEDIS distributes electricity to over 455,000 users, including households and businesses, providing vital infrastructure for the stable development of local communities—particularly in key tourist destinations throughout the country.

As the distribution system operator, CEDIS is responsible for:

  • Electricity distribution
  • Design and technical supervision
  • Management and development of the distribution network
  • Construction and maintenance of power infrastructure

CEDIS strives to be recognized as a reliable, efficient, and socially responsible partner, aligned with European energy standards and regulations.

Through continuous investment in infrastructure and modernization of the network, the company strengthens the stability of Montenegro’s energy system and supports the development of the tourism sector by ensuring dependable electricity supply—from coastal towns to mountain resorts.
