Malmen’s school

Malmen’s school is an F-6 school in the middle of Kumla urban area.

In addition to the usual classrooms, the school building contains a large dining room, handicraft halls and a music hall. Sports hall is located in a separate building. The main building is an angle house, in red brick, with one to three floors. The body of the house frames the schoolyard on two sides and forms a natural protection against the nearest car roads. The schoolyard has plenty of play areas. There is a gravel football field, lawns, playground with, among other things, swings, climbing wall and sandpit. On the paved part of the yard, students can play, for example, land bandy, basketball, skipping rope or play Gagaball. The children can also play in the old forest grove which is part of our schoolyard. Break activities are organized five days a week.
