Planned transport that has not been contracted must be announced in a timely manner to allow for the necessary preparations.

Contracted transport, which includes a planned dispatch schedule, does not require prior notice—only mutual updates on any potential changes or deviations from the agreed terms.

Conventional Transport
The conventional railway system is designed for speeds up to 200 km/h, and this railway network consists of: tracks dedicated to passenger transport, tracks dedicated to freight transport, and tracks intended for mixed transport (passenger and freight transport), as well as passenger transport hubs, freight transport hubs, including intermodal terminals.

The conventional railway system includes all railway vehicles operating on the conventional railway network, traffic management, tracking and navigation systems, data processing devices, and telecommunication systems.

Combined Transport
Intermodal transport is the transport of cargo in the same intermodal transport unit, where two or more types of transport are used consecutively without handling the cargo when changing the mode of transport, with the aim of increasing energy efficiency, improving road traffic safety, and protecting the environment.

Transport of Dangerous Goods
Dangerous goods are those that can pose a threat to human health, cause environmental contamination, or result in material damage. These goods have hazardous properties for human health and the environment, as defined by laws, regulations, and international agreements. Based on their nature, properties, and condition, they can be dangerous for safety during transportation or have proven toxic, corrosive, irritating, flammable, explosive, or radioactive effects. Raw materials from which dangerous goods are produced, as well as waste materials that have the properties of dangerous goods, are also considered dangerous goods.

Transport of Special Shipments
A special shipment is considered any shipment (vehicle or goods), based on the weight and dimensions of the vehicle and goods, that is accepted for transport under special traffic and technical conditions.

AD MONTECARGO owns freight wagons, which make up the registered wagon fleet, and these wagons are used in public railway transport, both in domestic transport (on the network of Montenegrin railways) and in international transport (on the railways of RIV member countries).
