The Nicéphore-Niépce museum in Chalon-sur-Saône is a museum of the history of photography from 1972 , labeled Musée de France and dedicated to the inventor of photography Nicéphore Niépce ( 1765 – 1833 ), in Chalon-sur- Saône in Saône-et-Loire ( Bourgogne-Franche-Comté ).
