The Museum of the Satyr, in Mazara del Vallo, depicts the emblem of the Mediterranean culture exposing, besides the precious statue, the   p in trimonio submerged   recovered in the Strait of Sicily represented by some marine finds that tell the long road of emigration, big topic topicality in the light of the continuous migratory exodus that cross the Mediterranean and of the businesses that have contributed so much to build the mosaic of our culture.
The discovery of the Satyr has raised awareness of the protection of that heritage “of all” but at risk of dispersion because it is little known, and has led to the conclusion that only from knowledge can protection be activated and at the same time a collaboration between peoples can be started. they overlook the Mediterranean and are able to cooperate for the protection and enhancement of the common heritage. The Mediterranean represents the treasure chest of our memory and the recovery of our history and our identity, it is our duty to protect it by highlighting the faint still legible traces of the companies that have crossed it.
