Na Homolce Hospital is an organization directly subordinate to the Ministry of Health. It is a specialized clinical facility distinct from large universityhospitals: rather than offering a complete range of healthcare services, it provides highly skilled, technologically advanced treatment in selected medical fields. We do not serve a particular catchment area: our patients are admitted on referral from their respective general practitioners or specialists and come from various places in the Czech Republic or, in some cases, from abroad. The hospital also operates as a designated research centre and has achieved the prestigious accreditation awarded by SAK, which guarantees a high standard of care and patient safety.
