The Public Utility Company PUC Badnjevo was established by the Assembly of the Municipality of Negotin and is registered in the court registry of the Commercial Court in Zaječar under number Fi-240/2000 on July 28, 2000, under the name Public Enterprise for Municipal Institutions, founded in November 1947. It was registered in the business entities register of the Agency for Business Registers under number BD 17123/2005 on May 16, 2005.
Over more than 60 years of operation, the company has been reorganized multiple times, with changes in name and activities, and through the merging of related companies. Some of the municipal activities are no longer carried out, while others have been added by the founders, so today the company performs all municipal activities that are essential for the life and work of citizens and other entities in the Municipality of Negotin, and these activities are legally determined as a public interest.
PUC Badnjevo Negotin organizes its operations as a unified entity and carries out activities through parts of the Company, which are divided into work units as organizational units that directly provide services to third parties, according to the predominant activity they perform.
Work units are further divided into departments as a more specific division of a certain activity or based on the location of the activity. Within each work unit, there are services organized as operational groups for specific tasks. Each work unit has a manager, and the services are managed by service managers. Work units are required to cooperate with each other and, in addition to services and work for third parties, also perform internal services and tasks within the Company.
Administrative tasks are organized through two services managed by service managers.
The Director implements the decisions of the Supervisory Board and manages the Company through the managers of work units, heads of (administrative) services, and persons who directly assist the Director in performing his duties. The managers of work units and heads of (administrative) services are directly responsible to the Director and/or to the person(s) authorized by the Director.
