The Municipality of Petrovac na Mlavi established the Public Utility Company “Parking Service” and entrusted it with the tasks of managing, using, and maintaining public spaces for parking motor vehicles, as well as removing and storing improperly parked vehicles from public areas, by separating them from the Public Company KJP “Izvor” Petrovac na Mlavi and the Public Company “Directorate for Construction and Development” of the Municipality of Petrovac na Mlavi.

The Public Utility Company “Parking Service” also performs activities related to the maintenance, arrangement, and marking of public parking lots within the territory of Petrovac na Mlavi, as well as activities of general interest:

• services in road traffic
• removal of improperly parked vehicles that obstruct pedestrian and vehicular traffic and damage public surfaces
• removal of vehicles found on public green areas, and
• other tasks related to the operation of public parking lots.

According to parking conditions and location advantages, public parking lots in Petrovac na Mlavi are divided into two zones: red and green. Additionally, there is a special parking lot – the yard of the old Primary School.

The parking fee is paid by purchasing a parking ticket at retail outlets selling newspapers or from the controllers – cashiers of JKP “Parking Service.”

• The price of a parking ticket for the red zone is 40 dinars/hour, and it is yellow in color;
• The price of a parking ticket for the green zone is 30 dinars/hour, and it is green in color;
• The price of a parking ticket for the yard of the old Primary School is 100 dinars, and it is valid for all-day parking and is blue in color.

There is also an option to purchase an all-day parking ticket, which is a fee for all-day use of the public parking lot on the day of purchase.

The price of an all-day parking ticket is 200 dinars, and it is red in color.
The method of using the parking ticket is indicated on its back.

You can also pay for parking via SMS, through all domestic providers. Depending on the zone, the message is sent to:
8611 red zone – 40 dinars/hour
8612 green zone – 30 dinars/hour

In the SMS, you send the data from your license plate without spaces (e.g., PT223KF).
If your license plates contain Č, Ć, Ž, Š, Đ and your phone does not support entering these letters, use C, S, Z or D in the SMS instead.
Five minutes before the parking time expires, you will receive a reminder message, notifying you when your parking time is about to end, after which you are required to pay for the next hour or leave the parking lot.
At parking lots in the red zone, there are also 4 parking spaces for people with disabilities, where parking is allowed for a duration of 120 minutes, while at all parking lots in the green zone, vehicles of people with disabilities can park without a time limit.
Parking fees are collected on weekdays between 07:00 and 21:00 and on Saturdays from 07:00 to 15:00. Parking fees are not collected on Sundays and public holidays.
