Skärgårdsgymnasiet Norrtälje is an independent upper secondary school that focuses on school-based vocational education.

We strive for education to be as similar to working life as possible. With us, you will find professionally adapted premises such as a hairdressing salon, bakery and workshop. Here, our students receive customers and guests with the support of well-trained teachers.

All of our vocational programs include at least 15 weeks of APL (workplace-based learning) at a company. All our students are offered to study for university admission. Our ambition is for all our students to be employable after completing their studies.

We offer the following programs:

• The craft program – specialization Hairdresser, Barber and hair and makeup stylist
• Restaurant and Food Program – Specialization Bakery and confectionery
• The Electricity and Energy Program – Focus Data and Communication and Electrical Engineering
• Nature management program – Specialization Forestry, Agriculture, Small animals and Horse keeping
• Plumbing and real estate program – Specialization plumbing fitter, Cooling & heat pump technician, Real estate technician
• Building and Civil Engineering Program – Specialization Civil Engineer (years 2 + 3)
