The State University of Novi Pazar was established by a decision of the Government of the Republic of Serbia at a session held in Nis on October 26, 2006, on the basis of Article 40, paragraph 2 of the Law on Higher Education and Article 43, paragraph 1 of the Law on Government. The university started realizing study programs as early as the school year 2006/2007. years.

As the only integrated University in the Republic of Serbia, it unites the following higher education units:

1. FACULTY OF PHILOSOPHY
2. FACULTY OF LAW AND ECONOMICS
3. FACULTY OF TECHNICAL SCIENCES

The State University of Novi Pazar is currently the only integrated university that exists in the Republic of Serbia, and is fully conceived and adapted to the work and education of students according to the principles of the Bologna Declaration.
