The St. John’s Hospital-North Joint Hospitals Buda Budapest XII. It is a healing institution with a long history in the Kútvölgy district of the district , which was established by merging the St. John’s Hospital and the Buda Children’s Hospital.
An average of 50,000 inpatients are cared for each year from the nearly one-million-strong region of west-central Hungary. About one million outpatients a year are cared for in their clinics and professional centers.
As of July 1, 2012, the unified hospital has 744 active beds (St. John’s Hospital) and 406 chronic rehabilitation beds (St. John’s Hospital: 336, Buda Children’s Hospital: 70) for patients, maternal women and the injured.
Healing activities take place at several sites. The institution belongs to the few health facilities where, with the exception of cardiac surgery, all branches of modern medicine are represented.
