Unico Finland Oy is a family company that manufactures flexible beds and sofas, owned by Pasi Saarinen and Petri Saarinen. Unico was founded in 1994 and has three different factories in Kauhava, Southern Ostrobothnia , and one factory in Lapua .
The mattress factory and central warehouse, the frame factory and the foam cutting plant are located in Kauhava. Lapua makes sofas, deck chairs and sofa beds.
Unico has approximately 110 employees and a total of approximately 33,000 m2 of business premises, divided into production, warehouse and office space.
Unico’s flexible beds, sofas, armchairs and sofa beds are sold in the most significant furniture chains in Finland, as well as in independent furniture stores and interior design houses.
In addition to home furniture, Unico also manufactures furniture for public use. In Finland, there are several hotel chains and accommodation facilities in ski resorts with beds, recliners and sofa beds made by Unico.
Unico Finland Oy is one of Finland’s largest furniture manufacturers. The products manufactured have a Key Flag Symbol issued by the Finnish Confederation of Labor to indicate a high degree of domestication, and Unico cooperates with the Allergy and Asthma Association.
