Five minutes away from Jablonec Square near the New Falkenburg Castle, you will find a beautiful place full of water, animals and greenery. These are the Jablonné Wetlands, which were conjured up from the former landfill by the organization Čmelák, a society of friends of nature.
In ponds and wetland meadows you can meet, for example, dragonflies, kingfishers, black coots, common toads, brown jumpers, collared snakes, gray herons and, of course, swans and ducks. You will also find plants such as the buttercup, the Siberian iris, the broadleaf cattail, the reed, the mud devil and more. Nature trails, piers and wooden walkways will take you through beautiful places where you will meet a snake (wooden dwelling for snakes), a lizard tree (stone dwelling for lizards), stepping stones in ponds, trunks for crawling, etc.
